Harry Kane shared his impressions of working with Thomas Tuchel, with whom he previously collaborated at Bayern Munich.
Details: England and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane stated at England’s pre-match press conference ahead of their clash with Albania that Thomas Tuchel was the main reason he ended up at Bayern.
"He was the main reason why I ultimately joined Bayern. Above all, I like his energy, I like what he wanted to do and how he wanted to play. From our very first meetings we had a great relationship, and that immediately sets you on the right path," Kane said.
The striker emphasized the importance of the coach’s trust:
"When he got the job, he saw me as one of the team’s leaders, someone who could help him in many areas – with the players, with the staff, immersing myself in the club’s culture, understanding what has worked well for us and how to keep it going."
Under Thomas Tuchel, Harry Kane played eight matches for England and scored seven goals in those games.
