He stays. Sensational Ipswich coach rejects offer from Premier League club

Brighton's attempt to lure Ipswich's head coach, Kieran McKenna, was unsuccessful.
According to David Ornstein, McKenna turned down Brighton's offer. Furthermore, the 38-year-old coach plans to sign a new long-term contract with Ipswich to put an end to all speculations.
Following a highly successful season, McKenna had been linked with several Premier League clubs. Besides Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United showed interest in him.
For Brighton, McKenna was the top priority. As reported by The Guardian, after his rejection, the club will focus on bringing back Graham Potter, who is currently without a job after being sacked by Chelsea.
Recall that after the season ended, Brighton parted ways with Roberto De Zerbi, who sought a new challenge for himself.
Under McKenna's guidance, Ipswich sensationally secured promotion to the English Premier League, despite the team playing in the third division in the 2022/23 season.
Before Ipswich, McKenna coached Manchester United and also served as an assistant to Ralph Rangnick, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Jose Mourinho.
