Brighton have identified the coach they want to replace Roberto De Zerbi, who left the club at the end of the season.

According to The United Stand, Brighton's sole target is Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna. Brighton is determined to secure his services at any cost.

McKenna was also considered for the Chelsea managerial position, but the London club ultimately decided against him.

Under McKenna’s guidance, Ipswich Town achieved a sensational promotion to the English Premier League, despite playing in the third division as recently as the 2022/23 season.

Before joining Ipswich, McKenna was part of Manchester United's coaching staff, serving as an assistant to Ralf Rangnick, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and José Mourinho.
