The new deal keeps Heaton at the club for another year.

"I'm proud of this; it's a huge honor for me," Heaton said.

Notably, Heaton last featured on the pitch during the 2024/25 season in a cup match against Barnsley, where he conceded two goals.

Despite being a Manchester United academy graduate, Heaton has made just three senior appearances for the club throughout his career, conceding two goals in those matches.

According to Transfermarkt, Tom Heaton’s market value is estimated at 100,000 euros.

Reminder: Unexpected twist. Harry Maguire will go to the World Cup after all
