Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has found a way to take part in the upcoming World Cup, despite new England head coach Thomas Tuchel leaving him out of the national team's official squad list.
Details: According to The Telegraph, the 33-year-old Maguire has received a surprise invitation to the tournament, but this time he'll be taking on a completely new role.
Reports say Maguire will join the team behind Gary Lineker’s hugely popular podcast The Rest Is Football for the duration of the World Cup. The experienced defender will serve as a special guest expert and pundit.
Let’s not forget, the player himself previously admitted he was “shocked and devastated” by Tuchel’s decision to leave him out of the World Cup squad.
