"He started a fire!" Wayne Rooney’s wife reveals his odd bedroom habits
Coleen Rooney, wife of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, shared a humorous yet alarming story about her husband’s bedroom habits during the Stick to Football podcast. According to Coleen, some of Wayne’s quirks almost caused their bedroom to catch fire.
Coleen explained that Wayne loves sleeping with a fan on because he often feels too hot. However, when she gets out of bed, he substitutes the fan with a hairdryer.
“Has he told you that it’s caught on fire before? The hairdryer is on cool, but one time he was cold, so it turned it to hot – and it blew up!” Coleen recounted.
Thankfully, they were able to extinguish the fire, but the situation was quite dangerous. Looking back, Coleen can laugh about it, but it remains a bizarre moment in their household.
Wayne and Coleen have been married for 17 years and have been together for over two decades. They first met in school and tied the knot in 2008. The couple has four sons.
