He laughed at his game. Maguire accepts Ghanaian MP's apology He laughed at his game. Maguire accepts Ghanaian MP's apology

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has accepted an apology from Ghanaian opposition MP Isaac Adongo.

An African politician publicly ridiculed an English footballer during a budget debate last year.

At the time, Adongo said Maguire's performance could be compared to Ghana's economic management and called the player the biggest threat in Manchester United's defence.

The very next year, after the debate, Adongo publicly admitted that he was wrong. He said Maguire had overcome the difficulties and had apologized to him.

According to Reuters, the footballer himself has already accepted the apology and expressed hope for a meeting at the Old Trafford stadium.

Maguire has made 11 appearances for Manchester United this season and scored one goal. The footballer was often criticized for his play, and last summer he could even leave the team.

Despite this, Maguire remains in the team and is now one of its key players.
