Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has commented on Mohamed Salah's expiring contract with the Merseyside club.
The ex-coach of Salah expressed his belief that the Egyptian star will remain with the Reds.
Quote: "I hope he stays. He is the greatest forward in Liverpool’s modern history. A fantastic person. The best ambassador Egypt could have. He is an incredible athlete," Klopp told Florian Plettenberg.
Background: Late last year, reports suggested that the star forward had agreed to a new deal with the Reds. The alleged new contract for the 32-year-old football star was said to span the next two seasons.
However, no further updates or confirmations regarding this information have emerged since then.
