"He is our guarantee" - Aurelio De Laurentiis denies Conte's departure

Details: Amid recent media rumors suggesting that Napoli's 56-year-old head coach Antonio Conte is set to leave the team soon, the club's 76-year-old owner Aurelio De Laurentiis stepped in to set the record straight and voiced his full support for the manager:
"It's a fabrication. I am proud to have someone like Conte alongside me, the club, and the team. He is a guarantee for our club, our players, and our fans," said De Laurentiis.

Conte took charge of Napoli in July 2024 and has since managed 56 matches, securing 34 wins, 12 draws, and 10 losses.
Currently, Napoli sit fourth in the Serie A standings, with 22 points from 11 matches, just two points behind the league leaders.
