Harry Kane congratulates Tottenham on Europa League victory

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane simply couldn't overlook the first major triumph for his boyhood club in the past 17 years. The striker took to his Instagram story to share a congratulatory post celebrating Tottenham's Europa League victory.
Kane reposted a publication from Spurs' official Instagram account, adding a brief caption: “Congratulations!” He tagged Tottenham's account and included a white heart emoji.

As a reminder, yesterday Tottenham finally broke the curse that had hung over the team since 2008. Since then, Spurs had been unable to win a single trophy. Their last piece of silverware was the League Cup, secured back in 2008.
It's also worth noting that this season, Kane himself broke his own drought, capturing the first trophy of his career with Bayern Munich. To add some context, Kane joined Tottenham in 2009, a year after Spurs' League Cup triumph, and wasn't able to win a trophy with the team before his departure in 2023.

Now, both Harry and Tottenham can boast about their titles. What's more, next season they might even face each other on the pitch, as Spurs have qualified for the Champions League thanks to their Europa League success.
