"Happy Easter!" Erling Haaland greets everyone on the Christian holiday

Manchester City star Erling Haaland humorously greeted all Christians on the important holiday of Easter. The footballer shared a message in his Instagram story.

The Norwegian posted a photo of himself, to which he amusingly photoshopped Easter eggs in a basket and Easter bunnies. He topped this funny composition with a "Happy Easter" wish.

Let us remind you that yesterday marked the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ, which both Catholics and Orthodox Christians celebrated on the same day this year. It should be noted that despite the holiday, matches of the English Premier League were played yesterday as usual. However, Manchester City played on Saturday and secured an away victory over Everton.

Additionally, Erling Haaland is currently sidelined, as he continues to recover from an injury sustained at the end of March. According to the Norwegian's social media, he has already started light jogging, suggesting a successful recovery process.

Manchester City currently sits in 4th place in the English Premier League standings and is set for a crucial match tomorrow against Aston Villa, which is also vying for a spot in the Champions League.
