Haiti qualified for the 2026 World Cup for the first time in their history, but not all supporters who want to attend the matches may be able to reach the stadiums.
Details: According to The Athletic, citizens of Haiti are currently under a travel ban to the United States imposed by the Trump administration. As a result, many Haitian fans will not be allowed to enter the U.S. to watch their national team’s matches.
On June 11, the 28th FIFA World Cup will kick off across the United States, Canada and Mexico. For the first time in history, the tournament will feature 48 teams, although the full lineup is still being determined through the remaining qualification matches.
