Haaland with a hat-trick. Manchester City conceded against Ipswich but responded with four goals
Manchester City hosted Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium as part of the second round of the Premier League.
In a surprising start, the visitors took the lead early in the match. On the 7th minute, Sammie Szmodics scored past Ederson.
However, this only spurred the English champions into action. City responded with three goals in just four minutes! Haaland netted a brace, and De Bruyne added another.
The second half saw no extraordinary events as the "Blues" comfortably saw out the match to secure the victory. And Haaland scored again, completing his hat-trick.
Interestingly, Ipswich became the 23rd club that the Norwegian forward has scored against in the Premier League. Haaland has now scored against every team he has faced in the league.
City remains perfect with two wins from two matches to start the season. Ipswich, who had a tough start to their campaign, remains without points.
