It's highly likely that star forward Erling Haaland of Manchester City and the Norwegian national team won't play in today's match against Luton Town.

Haaland has been a starter in every Premier League game this season, making this the first match he'll miss. Manchester City hasn't secured a victory in their last four games.

They had three consecutive draws against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham, followed by a defeat against Aston Villa on Wednesday. This four-game streak without a win marks a first in Pep Guardiola's professional coaching career.

However, there's good news for the Citizens as Rodri and Jack Grealish return to the squad after suspension, likely to replace Haaland. Rodri's return serves as a significant boost; he's perhaps the only player City can't do without, aside from Haaland. Guardiola's side has failed to win any of the three Premier League games Rodri missed this season. Grealish's presence will also ease the attacking burden.

Jeremy Doku, who missed the game against Villa, remains a consideration for today's match pending evaluation by the coaching staff.

The Luton Town versus Manchester City match is scheduled for today at 15:00 Central European Time.
