Haaland was injured in a match with the Faroe Islands national team

Ola Sand, the Norway national team doctor, spoke about the injury of striker Erling Haaland.
According to a representative of the national team, the Manchester City forward suffered an ankle injury in a friendly match with the Faroe Islands (2:0).
Sand noted that Haaland slightly twisted his ankle, which is a weak spot for the star football player.
“At the beginning it was very painful, but then everything went away quite quickly. The player’s condition will be assessed tomorrow,” the doctor said.
Interestingly, the star Norwegian football player was injured shortly after coming on as a substitute a few minutes before the end of the friendly match.
Sand clarified that the player injured the same ankle with which he had problems previously.
This season, Haaland has scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists for Manchester City. Based on the results of 12 rounds of the English Championship, Manchester City ranks first with 28 points, and the Norwegian is the team's top scorer in all tournaments.
