Guardiola reveals what Manchester City needs to win the Premier League

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola responded to criticism from football expert Gary Neville.

The Spanish coach admitted that his team faced certain problems in the 2023/2024 season, but he believes in his players and hopes for the best. Guardiola expressed his point of view in a comment to the official website of the “citizens”.

"I don't think we are complacent. My players are well known to me. They fight and show character. I am confident that if we maintain this level we will be Premier League champions again.

Gary Neville is well aware of how difficult this is, as in his heyday at Manchester United they did not win four league titles in a row.

But I see how my team fights, they never give up. I see how football players get upset after missing goals. What do they expect from us? “As if we have to score 120 points?” said the Spaniard.

Let us remind you that according to the results of the rounds, Manchester City ranks third with 30 points and is six points behind the leading Arsenal.

In the last round, the “citizens” were unable to beat “Tottenham”.
