Guardiola Praises Pharaoh Marmoush After Stunning Hat-Trick Against Newcastle

After Omar Marmoush scored his first hat-trick for Manchester City in a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League's 25th round, manager Pep Guardiola lauded the Egyptian star.

The fourth-fastest hat-trick in Manchester City's Premier League history was achieved by Marmoush, who scored his three goals in just 14 minutes.

Speaking after the match, Guardiola said: "We knew that sooner or later, Omar would start scoring. He is a good finisher but still has room to improve."

He added: "We missed a player like him—his movement, his speed. He gives us more attacking options."

In an interview with beIN Sports, the Spanish coach stated: "Marmoush was outstanding today. He struggled to convert chances in previous games, but today he took them brilliantly. He has great potential, speed, and excellent positioning."
