Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expressed his grievances to English football authorities after his team's victory over Chelsea (1:0) in the semi-final of the national Cup.

The coach criticized the scheduling of today's match just two days after playing 120 minutes against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

"It's unacceptable to let us play today. It's impossible, for the health of the players. It's not normal. One-hundred-twenty minutes, the emotions of Madrid, the way we lose... honestly. I know this country is special [with the FA Cup] but it's for the health of the players. I don't understand how we survived today.

I'm right. It's common sense. I'm not asking for some special privilege. I know they [the authorities] don't care but I care. I don't have time to attend meetings.

"The only power I have I say here. Why don't we play tomorrow? Chelsea, Manchester United, Coventry didn't play midweek." said Guardiola Sky Sports.

In the Cup final, Pep Guardiola's team will face the winner of the Coventry - Manchester United pair, who will meet on Sunday, April 21.
