Grigor Dimitrov’s girlfriend shows her support after dramatic match with Sinner
Tennis star Grigor Dimitrov faced a dramatic turn of events during his Wimbledon round of 16 clash against Jannik Sinner. The Bulgarian was forced to retire due to an injury, despite leading the Italian by two sets to none.
To comfort her partner after this heartbreaking setback, Dimitrov’s girlfriend Eiza González posted a touching message on her Instagram story.
“Love of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you. You’re are BEYOND outstanding, This is just a moment that will pass and will make you even stronger. But watching you today alongside the world was a reminder of who YOU are. You’re a winner. We all saw it. And you’ll do it again❤️ I love you @grigordimitrov,” González wrote.
This Wimbledon marked the fifth consecutive Grand Slam tournament that Dimitrov has been forced to exit early due to injury.
It’s worth noting that Eiza González and Dimitrov went public with their relationship in May of this year.
