Tennis sensation Emma Raducanu is fueling speculation about a potential romance with fellow player Carlos Alcaraz. She was spotted in the stands of Centre Court during the Spaniard’s round of 16 clash against Andrey Rublev at Wimbledon, her presence picked up by Channel 9’s live broadcast cameras.
Raducanu appeared thoroughly delighted, flashing a broad smile as she cheered for her friend and rumored romantic interest. The two have also announced they will team up in the mixed doubles at the upcoming US Open.
Despite the persistent rumors about their relationship, both young stars continue to deny any romantic involvement, insisting they are just friends. They have known each other since 2021 and have maintained a warm rapport ever since.
Notably, Alcaraz triumphed over Rublev in a four-set battle to secure his spot in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, where he is set to face Britain’s Cameron Norrie.
As for Raducanu, her Wimbledon journey came to an end after a round of 32 defeat to world number one Aryna Sabalenka.
