Griezmann pens an emotional letter to Atlético Madrid fans

Antoine Griezmann has decided to leave Atlético Madrid at the end of this season and has now addressed a letter to the fans.

Details: Atlético Madrid published Griezmann’s letter to the supporters on the club’s official page, in which he stated that he is not leaving just yet and will give everything possible for Los Rojiblancos over the coming month.

Quote: “It’s not easy to put into words what I feel, because this club is my home and you are my family. It has been an incredible journey, full of unforgettable matches, goals, joy and a passion that only those of us who truly feel Atlético can understand.

But for now, let’s leave the future in the future, because I’m not leaving yet. I still have months to wear this shirt, months to give everything on our stadium and beyond, to lift the Copa del Rey and to dream of going as far as possible in the Champions League.

We still have many opportunities ahead to be happy. I want every minute I have left here to be a tribute to this badge. The best is yet to come. We will do it, as always, together.

My gift will remain red and white until the very last breath of this 2026 season. And my heart will be the same forever.

Aupa Atleti,” Griezmann said.

Reminder: Antoine Griezmann will join Orlando City in the summer of 2026, following the expiration of his contract with Atlético. It is already known how long his deal will be.
