Midfielder Barcelona Frankie de Jong is recovering rapidly after injury.

According to Sport, the Dutch midfielder will be fully ready to play in the first Champions League quarter-final match against PSG, which is scheduled for April 10.

De Jong was injured in early March in a league match against Athletic Bilbao (0-0). The footballer was diagnosed with a severe ankle ligament sprain.

The 26-year-old midfielder has played 27 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 2 goals.

Barcelona is currently in second place in the La Liga table after 29 rounds, trailing their main rival, Real Madrid, by eight points.

Earlier, we reported that Barcelona's head coach Xavi has been suspended for two matches in the Spanish championship.
