Graham Potter reveals when Michail Antonio can return to the field after horrific car crash

West Ham United's head coach Graham Potter has provided an update on Michail Antonio's health condition.
Recall that the Jamaican forward last took to the field on December 3, 2024. Four days after that match, the striker was involved in a horrific car accident, crashing his car into a tree. Antonio was trapped in the vehicle with a broken leg, and only rescuers could extricate him.

"He is progressing step by step. Right now, he is far from us, just training. But he should be back soon.
We are pleased with how he feels. We support him, and everything is going well," Potter stated.
At the same time, the coach refused to comment on the possible contract extension for Antonio, stating that this matter will be resolved directly between the club and the player.
Michail Antonio has been playing for West Ham since 2015, when he joined the club from Nottingham Forest. His contract with the Hammers expires at the end of the current season, but the club has yet to announce whether they will continue their relationship with the player.
