Touching moment: Michail Antonio meets the paramedics who saved his life
West Ham star Michail Antonio paid a visit to the medics who saved his life after a horrific car crash last December. The footballer expressed his gratitude to the doctors during the BBC's Morning Live program for their incredible work.
Antonio met with Dr. James Moloney, rescuer Rob Moon, and the Herts Air Ambulance crew at the North Weald Airfield in Essex.

"I want to say thank you because I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys. So you guys are basically my heroes," said Michail.
The footballer also shared his admiration for the medics' work, admitting that he could never do such things himself. According to Antonio, he would faint or panic at the sight of blood.

To recap, on December 7, Michail Antonio was involved in an accident on his way back from training, crashing into a tree. As a result, the footballer was trapped inside the car, and rescuers had to literally cut him out of the wreckage.
In the accident, Antonio broke his leg, which was successfully operated on the day after the incident. He is currently in the rehabilitation stage.
