Henry Garcia stated that his son was drinking. Ryan denied this fact
Boxer Ryan Garcia's father shared troubling news about his son. Henry claimed that Ryan drinks and that they rarely communicate.
Henry Garcia also told Fight Hub TV that he wants Ryan to undergo therapy, as he believes the alcohol issues are very serious.
"I would really like him to undergo some therapy when it comes to alcohol consumption. I'm a realist. He says he can control it. I hope that's true. But if he can't, then therapy is necessary so he can stop," stated Henry.
Ryan quickly responded to his father's claims. He denied Henry Garcia's statements about his drinking and asserted that his father does not know what he is talking about.
"I don't even drink anymore. My father doesn't know what he's talking about. I literally just spoke with him, and he apologized," replied Ryan.
Recall that Ryan is officially disqualified for a year for using the banned drug Ostarine before the fight against Haney.
Earlier, it was reported that Haney plans to sue Garcia. Devin believes he could have earned more for his next fight if not for the situation surrounding his fight with Gracia. Devin believes that the situation with his fee for his upcoming fight against Sandor Martin confirms this.
Recall that Garcia announced the end of his boxing career.
