Devin Haney plans to sue Ryan Garcia

Lightweight boxer Devin Haney plans to sue his rival Ryan Garcia, journalist Michael Benson reported.

Haney believes he could have earned more for his next fight if not for the situation surrounding his bout with Garcia. Devin contends that the situation with his purse for the upcoming fight against Sandor Martin substantiates this.

"My lawyers will do everything possible to prove this in court against Ryan. We will sue because this has affected me—not only financially but also morally," stated Devin Haney.

It is noteworthy that American super lightweight boxer Ryan Garcia has been officially disqualified for a year for using banned substances before his fight against Devin Haney.

Prior to this, Ryan Garcia announced his retirement. The American boxer shared this news on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
