GPL: Didi Dramani Confident Hearts of Oak Can Challenge for Title Following Goalless Draw with Young Apostles
Hearts of Oak coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani remains confident that his team can still mount a strong challenge for the Ghana Premier League title, even though their start to the season has been far from consistent.
The Phobians were held to a frustrating goalless draw against Young Apostles on Sunday, a result that leaves them sitting sixth on the league table. Despite their struggles in front of goal, Dramani insists there is no reason to panic.
After the match, he reiterated his belief that the title remains within reach.
“It is still possible to win the league because we have more than thirty matches to play. We only need to convert these draws into wins. If you want to win the league, you must win games,” he said.
Hearts of Oak are currently sixth on the Ghana Premier League table with 18 points from 11 matches, trailing league leaders Aduana by five points. With the season still in its early stages, Dramani believes his side has ample time to close the gap and push for the top spot. The Phobians will now shift focus to their next fixture as they prepare to host Vision FC on Saturday at WAFA Park, a crucial opportunity to return to winning ways and strengthen their title ambitions.
