Gor Mahia’s Struggles Continue With Third Winless Game in FKF Premier League

Gor Mahia lost 1-0 to Kenya Police FC on Saturday, their third straight loss in the FKF Premier League, adding to their woes. Gor's defensive blunder was punished by Alex Mang'eni's goal in the 62nd minute, giving Police its fourth consecutive win under coach Etienne Ndayiragije.

The loss drops Gor Mahia to sixth with 18 points from 12 matches, while Police climb to fourth with 20 points. Gor had hoped to recover from a 1-1 draw with Shabana FC and a prior 1-0 defeat to Bidco United but failed to find a response.

In other news, Mara Sugar defeated Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 to snap a six-game losing run and climb to fifth place with 19 points. Nairobi City Stars and Kakamega Homeboyz tied 1-1, and FC Talanta and Simba wa Nairobi also shared points.

Gor Mahia must rediscover form quickly to challenge for the league title.
