Details: After the victory over Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal, Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso told reporters that the 27-year-old team leader Kylian Mbappé has every chance to feature in Sunday's final against Barcelona.

Mbappé suffered a knee injury at the end of December 2025 and is still undergoing rehabilitation, but according to Alonso, the Frenchman is already feeling much better:
"He will arrive in Saudi Arabia within the next 24 hours, he feels much better. He has chances to play," says Xabi Alonso.
This season, Mbappé has played 24 matches for Real across all competitions, scoring 29 goals and providing 5 assists.
The Spanish Super Cup final will be played on January 11, 2026, in Jeddah at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
