Good news for the Algerian national team!
Ahead of the trip to the United States
Hicham Boudaoui has resumed training with the squad just days before the World Cup kicks off.
The Algerian midfielder had been recovering from a facial and head injury sustained during his club Nice’s Ligue 1 relegation play-off against Saint-Étienne. This injury had kept him off the pitch, meaning he missed Algeria’s friendly against the Netherlands.
However, the news is now positive. Hicham Boudaoui resumed team training on Sunday 7 June. He has rejoined the squad as Algeria prepares to travel to the United States in a few hours’ time. The midfielder will travel with Les Fennecs and could be available for the remainder of the build-up ahead of the World Cup’s kick-off on 11 June.
