As the festive season approaches, so does a demanding schedule for English clubs. However, Liverpool is set to handle it more effectively with some key reinforcements.
Details: Two Liverpool forwards who were sidelined due to injuries have recovered and resumed full training with the squad.
The players in question are Portuguese striker Diogo Jota and Italian winger Federico Chiesa. Both trained with their teammates today.
This season, Jota has recorded four goals and two assists in 10 appearances across all competitions. Chiesa, Liverpool’s sole summer signing, has featured in only three games so far.
Reminder: Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson, also recently returned from injury and played in the 1–0 win against Girona.
