Back in the summer of 2025, centre-back Levi Colwill suffered a serious injury and was ruled out for almost the entire season. However, it now seems we may see him back sooner than expected.

Details: According to information from Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior, the English centre-back has completed a light training session on the pitch. He also stated that there is a possibility of seeing Colwill on the field this season, but no one is making any forecasts in advance.

Quote: "It was nice to see him back on the pitch, he is already doing running exercises. He is looking forward to returning to the field. But we have to make sure he is 100% ready before he comes back. Yes, he could return before the end of this season. But it’s step by step, I don’t want to make any promises about it," Rosenior said.

Chelsea will play their next match against West Ham in the English Premier League, which will take place on Saturday, 31 January, with kick-off at 18:30 CET.

Reminder: The transfer of Chelsea’s 27-year-old centre-back Axel Disasi to West Ham is at an advanced stage. It is reported that Disasi will join the Hammers on loan until the end of the season.
