Golf star Tiger Woods gives emotional tribute to his late mother

Golf legend Tiger Woods gave a heartfelt interview on CBS, opening up about the recent passing of his mother.
Following the death of Kultida Woods at the age of 81, Woods withdrew from the Genesis Invitational, admitting he wasn’t ready to return to the course after the tragic loss. However, he noted that his mother would have wanted him to compete.
During the interview, Woods reflected on the difficult days following her passing.
"It’s been a tough process to go through but I’ve had amazing family support. All the players have reached out that were playing here this week. The amount of texts and emails and nice messages of support I got has really helped. It’s really meant a lot to me. She meant everything to me and losing her has been a very hard and difficult process to go through," Woods admitted.
He also shared childhood memories of how his mother made education a priority, refusing to let him play golf until he finished all his schoolwork. Because of her, academics always came first in his early years.
