Veteran goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel has declined Liverpool's offer to extend his contract.
The experienced Spaniard's contract with the Merseyside club expired on July 1, and he chose not to renew it despite the club's offer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 37-year-old Spanish goalkeeper will return to his homeland. He will join Real Betis.
Adrian joined Liverpool in 2019. Over five years, he played 26 matches for the Reds, conceding 36 goals.
Betis is Adrian's home club, from which he moved to West Ham in 2013.
Previously, it was reported that Liverpool is competing with Barcelona for the Spanish national team's star.
