Lionel Messi, who has joined the Argentina national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, is clearly relishing the chance to spend time with his teammates. He's posted several candid shots from the squad's training sessions in his Instagram stories.

The football superstar reposted a photo featuring himself alongside fellow teammates Rodrigo De Paul and Leandro Paredes, as well as some of the national team staff, riding together on the team bus. He also shared a group picture with his teammates during a training scrimmage.

It's worth noting that Argentina had already secured their spot in the World Cup finals some time ago, so the remaining qualifiers hold no real tournament significance for them. Still, that didn't stop Messi from joining up with the squad—a team for which he has hardly played in this qualifying campaign due to injuries.

In fact, Leo has featured in just 4 out of Argentina's 14 qualifiers so far. Despite that, he's racked up 6 goal involvements (3 goals and 3 assists), with 5 of those coming in a single match against Bolivia.
