Girona is hopeful of re-signing their leader on loan, who will be moving to Manchester City

Girona hopes to once again loan winger Savio, who will move to Manchester City in the summer.

The Catalan club anticipates that the Brazilian will be interested in playing another year with the team, which is likely to have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League for the first time in its history.

The rights to the 19-year-old Brazilian belong to French side Troyes, which is also part of the City Group. Savio has been playing for Girona on loan since the beginning of the season. In the current season, the talented Brazilian has scored 9 goals and provided 7 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Earlier reports indicated that Savio's move to Manchester City was a done deal, and the Brazilian had already put pen to paper on a contract with the Citizens.

Girona currently sits in second place in La Liga, trailing Real Madrid by six points.
