This summer, Girona lost their top scorer Artem Dovbyk, who transferred to Roma. However, the club has already found a replacement. Today, Girona officially announced the signing of Macedonian forward Bojan Miovski from Aberdeen.
The Catalan club paid €8 million for the 25-year-old striker, with Miovski signing a four-year contract.
Last season, Girona surprised many by finishing third in La Liga, securing their first-ever qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
Miovski scored 26 goals in 53 matches across all competitions for Aberdeen last season.
As a side note, Girona will kick off their new La Liga season today with a match against Real Betis, scheduled to start at 21:30 CET.
