Ghana vs Germany: GFA President Kurt Okraku Says Black Stars No Longer Fear European Giants
GFA President Kurt Okraku has expressed strong confidence in the Ghana ahead of their upcoming international friendly against Germany/
Speaking at a fundraising event aimed at supporting Ghana’s participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Ghana Football Association president highlighted a major shift in the team’s mindset compared to previous years.
According to Okraku, fixtures against top European sides like Germany once inspired fear, but that mentality has now changed within the squad.
"A few years ago, if you heard a fixture like Ghana versus Germany, you'd be afraid," Okraku stated. "But today, we are very confident.
“The intangible assets that have been put together by Coach Addo and his team will make Ghana proud."
Ghana will take on Germany in an international friendly on March 30, 2026, in Stuttgart, in what promises to be a strong test ahead of their World Cup campaign.
