Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of Congolese defender Aristote Tamuzi on a two-year permanent contract ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors confirmed the 27-year-old centre-back’s arrival after he successfully completed his medical examination in Kumasi.
"Asante Kotoko is pleased to announce the signing of 27-year-old Aristote Tamuzi on a two-year contract following the successful completion of his medical examination in Kumasi. The robust center-back, who is from Congo and most recently played for AS New Soger, has experience in Eswatini. He is expected to strengthen the Porcupine Warriors' defense with his leadership qualities."
Tamuzi, who most recently played for AS New Soger, said he is aware of the expectations that come with joining one of Ghana’s biggest clubs but is ready for the challenge.
“Asante Kotoko is a historical club in Africa and Ghana, and I am delighted to be here. I am aware of the pressure, but we will work hard to please the supporters. I am here to work.”
