Gaston Sirino is set to leave Kaizer Chiefs.

The Uruguayan midfielder is not going to have his contract at Chiefs renewed upon its expiration at the end of this month.

In truth Sirino has not set the scene at Amakhosi like he did when he played for Mamelodi Sundowns and this is the main reason he is being let go.

Talk in the Chiefs corridors is that Sirino was not a team player as he spent most of the time sulking than working hard for the team.

The player is said to also to be faking injury when he was needed by the club and this has infuriated the Chiefs hierarchy who have decided against handing him a deal.

Sirino joined Chiefs three seasons ago from Sundowns, where he was key for the team helping them win trophies but he was not such a player at Chiefs.

It will be interesting which team he will join as it's not many Betway Premiership sides who can afford his wage demands.
