Gasperini wants to snatch a player from Guardiola

Roma is set to challenge Manchester City for the signature of young Brazilian talent Wesley.
Details: According to Calciomercato, Roma’s new head coach has identified his top transfer target for the summer window.
The focus is on Flamengo’s right-back Wesley, a player who has long been on the Italian manager’s radar since his days at Atalanta.
Gian Piero Gasperini believes the young full-back can inject dynamism, pace, and reliability into the squad for the upcoming season.
However, Roma faces stiff competition. Juventus and Manchester City have also expressed interest in Wesley, while Flamengo is determined to keep hold of the player for at least another season.
Despite his young age, Wesley boasts considerable experience: 127 appearances for Flamengo’s senior team and two caps for the Brazilian national side.
The defender’s contract with the Rubro-Negro runs until 2030, and, according to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €20 million.
