Gambia Announce 35-Man Provisional Squad for AFCON 2027 Qualifiers Against Somalia and Ghana

Gambia head coach Jonathan McKinstry has announced a provisional 35-man squad for the Scorpions’ upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Somalia and Ghana.

The Gambia will begin their qualifying campaign at home against Somalia on September 25, 2026, at the Independence Stadium in Banjul.

McKinstry’s side will then travel to Accra four days later to face Ghana on September 29.
