Galatasaray to pursue Eintracht striker Elie Wahi

The French forward is a highly sought-after target on the transfer market.

Details: According to respected and well-known journalist Ekrem Konur, 22-year-old French striker Elie Wahi of German side Eintracht could join Turkish club Galatasaray on loan as early as this winter.

Reports indicate that the Turkish powerhouse is looking to bring Wahi in on loan with an option to buy. Eintracht, for their part, are only willing to agree to a loan deal without a subsequent sale.

In addition to Galatasaray, Wahi has also attracted interest from Napoli, Atlético Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund.

Elie Wahi joined Eintracht this January from Marseille for €26 million. Since then, he has made 25 appearances for the Frankfurt side, scoring once and providing three assists.

Wahi's current contract with Eintracht runs until 2030, and his market value is estimated at €18 million by Transfermarkt.
