Gakpo hopes Salah extends Liverpool contract

It’s no secret that Mohamed Salah is a vital asset to Liverpool on the pitch. His teammates also recognize his immense contributions, with some hinting at his long-term future at Anfield.

Details: Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo praised Salah’s impact, expressing hope that the Egyptian forward continues to deliver and remains with the team for years to come.

Quote: "What we all see is very special. The number of goals he scores, the assists he provides, the way he leads the game, and how he puts other attacking players or midfielders like me in positions to score and be dangerous—it’s all top-level.

I hope, for us and for him, that he can keep doing this for a long time. We’re very fortunate to have him, and we’re proud to be his teammates, striving to make him better while he works to make us better too," Gakpo said in an interview with the club's media team.

Reminder: Recently, Salah’s teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold shared a humorous story about the "compromising" footage Salah has of him.
