The official Arsenal website has announced that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of young Wolverhampton player, Brayden Clarke. The youngster may debut for the club's youth team as early as today.

The player himself commented on his transfer, leaving a message on his Instagram page:

"After seven years at Wolves, it's time to embark on a new chapter.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me along this journey, and I wish all my teammates at Wolves the best of luck in the future."

According to Football London, the 16-year-old player joined the Gunners for free, without any compensation fee.

The Welshman has made eighteen appearances for Wolves at the academy level since the 2021/22 season. He has been a regular player for the Premier League U-18 team over the past two years, despite playing in at least two age groups. He is capable of playing both as a central and right-back. Additionally, he has represented the Wales U-16 and U-17 national teams, playing a significant role in the youth squad at the European Championship last summer.
