Fury agreed to a rematch with Ngannou. The promoter announced the dates
Promoter Eddie Hearn has no doubt that WBC champion Tyson Fury will hold a second fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
According to the British representative, the parties have allegedly already agreed on a rematch. According to him, the fight is planned for the end of 2024, writes BoxingScene.
“We are all waiting for the Fury-Ngannou rematch. Apparently, they have already agreed. If I were Francis, I would not consider other options, other than fights against Fury, Joshua or Wilder.
Moreover, after the first fight with Tyson, he perfectly understood that he could win. So, I don't see any point in him fighting anyone else, he just really could lose to anyone in the top 50 in the heavyweight division. He needs to focus specifically on Fury.
He only has three fights to get the huge money he came for. He will fight first in the PFL and then face Fury late next year. This is their team’s strategy,” the promoter said.
