"Funny guy." Haaland gave a cheeky response to Cucurella in a post-match interview

In today's Premier League opener, Manchester City secured an away victory over Chelsea. One of the goalscorers, Erling Haaland, showed that he holds grudges by refusing to help Chelsea's Marc Cucurella with a cramp, despite the Spanish player’s pleas.

After the match, Haaland made a sharp remark about Cucurella in an interview with former Norwegian footballer Jan Åge Fjørtoft.

“Well, Cucurella is a funny guy,” Haaland said on Viaplay. “Last season he asked for my shirt, and this summer he sings a song about me.”

It’s worth noting that after Spain’s victory at the Euros in July, Marc Cucurella performed the song “Cucu Cururella” with the line “Haaland trembles, Cucurella goes.” Interestingly, Haaland scored his goal in today’s match precisely from under the Spanish defender.
