Midfielder Juan Palhinha from Fulham has addressed the ongoing rumors about his potential move to Bayern Munich.
The Bavarian powerhouse tried to sign the Brazilian footballer during the summer transfer window, but the deal fell through on the final day. Fulham stood firm, rejecting a hefty €60 million offer for their key player.
“It's not messing with my head, I'm calm. I'm not thinking much about what will come next. It's an important month for Fulham and for me too. Whatever has to happen in January, will happen”, - Palhinha was quoted as saying by DAZN.
Previously, the Brazilian expressed his desire to continue his career in Munich. However, reports from Western media suggest Bayern will cautiously approach the winter transfer window and be measured in spending on new signings.
The 28-year-old Palhinha has been with Fulham since early 2022. In the current season, he has featured in 12 matches for The Cottagers, scoring two goals.
The London-based team currently holds the twelfth spot in the Premier League standings. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich stands second in the Bundesliga, trailing behind Bayer Leverkusen.
