Friedkin's want to buy Saelemakers, but Milan won't make concessions
Roma is keen on completing the permanent transfer of Alexis Saelemaekers, who has impressed since joining the club on loan from Milan. The Belgian has adapted quickly and become an important part of the team in the Italian capital.
Details: The first negotiations between the clubs took place back in June, but no agreement was reached. Milan is unwilling to consider a swap deal involving Tammy Abraham and values Saelemaekers at €25-30 million.
Quote: "Conceição rates Saelemaekers highly and wants him in the team. But it all depends on the finances," sources at CalcioMercato report.
Saelemaekers has already become a fan favorite at Roma, and the club’s management is working hard to secure his permanent stay. A decision is expected soon.
Reminder: Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has an unexpected option to continue his career. Roma wants to invite the Italian to the position of head coach.
Ancelotti’s current contract with the Spanish giants runs until the summer of 2026. Roma, meanwhile, will be led by Claudio Ranieri until the end of the season.
