French football legend is close to a move to Los Angeles FC

Experienced striker Olivier Giroud is likely to leave Milan next summer as a free agent.

As reported by David Ornstein, the 37-year-old forward is in talks with MLS club FC Los Angeles. The parties are very close to reaching an agreement and signing a contract until the end of 2026.

Milan would like to extend Giroud's contract, which expires in June this year, but the footballer decided to move to MLS.

This season Giroud has 12 goals and 8 assists in 26 Serie A matches.

For FC Los Angeles since this season plays a peer and compatriot of Giroud - goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. Also, in the short history of this club, such legends as Giorgio Chiellini and Gareth Bale have played for the club.
